Why NYC is a great place for aspiring models and actors of all ages

The big apple is home to the greatest pizza in the USA, Victoria’s Secret supermodels, and many famous actors. It’s also a great place to live for aspiring models looking to make it big time.

Los Angeles is good too but NYC is better for models who are just starting out. Here’s why:

1. The networking possibilities are limitless
As a New Yorker you’ll be surrounded by other models and actors like yourself. This will in turn make it easier to make connections and ultimately meet casting directors.

2. Everything is closer in distance
Most of the work is shot there anyway so you won’t even need to travel by plane much. You don’t even need to pay for a car because everything is within walking or biking distance. There’s 50 different restaurants on the same street as your apartment building.

3. Golden opportunities exist all over there
In the big apple there are more opportunities than being in a place like Nebraska, for example. Where lots of successful actors are from but not too many fashion modeling jobs or movies are done there. When in comparision with New York City that is.

Conclusion, Closing Thoughts and Key Takeaways
New York City isn’t for everyone but it’s worth taking a shot at if you are serious about your career in the entertainment industry and want to take it to the next level.

With the Zoom trend the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has caused, the entertainment industry has been forced to go digital. The best place for aspiring models and actors of all ages may be where you are right now because self-tapes and virtual auditions are the new normal. The internet has made it possible to chat with your talent agent or take acting lessons from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection.
