Sailee Tiwari is a software engineer by profession and the author of the books Extraordinary and Eternal Trudges. She has contributed to more than 10 anthology books and e-magazines. She is also compiling a new book.
She adores photography, jewellery making, painting, poetry, miniature gardening and singing. She loves to travel and share her travel experiences. She is active on Mirakee for writing short quotes and poems.
About the book ‘Extra Ordinary’:
Each drop of water in a river, star in a galaxy, a leaf in a tree, a cell in a body holds importance. In the same way, the book highlights the stories of twelve ordinary people with a tinge of an ‘out of ordinary’ or unusual in their lives. A thought can change perspective, affect decisions, and determine the outcome of every situation. The book emphasizes vivid thoughts, feelings, and life experiences with which a reader can relate, and which instigate many questions in mind.
About the book ‘Eternal Trudges’ :
The book holds different forms of poetry – Acrostic, couplets, quatrains, and free verses. They are written with utmost sentiments. While some are heartfelt and vestiges of my memories, others are a quest seeking reality and raising questions in life.
What are her achievements?
She has won several awards like India Prime Icon Award 2021 in association with Foxclues, ‘Special mention’ in Cherry Awards, Spectrum awards for ‘Inspiring Women 2021’, Writer’s Ink Awards 2021, Sahityakosh Samman 2021 and so on. She has also been interviewed by Team Storiyan. She is working with other teams for book talks and podcasts to reach a wider audience.
She is featured on various news channels and magazines like Outlook India, The Week, The Inspirant, Taare Zameen Par, The Celeb Lyf and Nagpur Oranges. She is also featured on the cover of Litvoice magazine June edition.
Her other books are underway and will be released soon.
Her father agrees readily and discusses it with her mother. Her mother becomes enraged, stating that the family is battling poverty and that they cannot afford additional costs, it is not worth it.
What are her beliefs and inspiration?
She is a logophile and a dreamer. She writes consistently. She had an ardent wish of expressing her thoughts and imagery in the form of a book. This gave her the direction to keep thriving for it. She believes, ‘where there is a will, there is a way.’
Her favourite authors are Sidney Sheldon, Robin Sharma, Paulo Coelho, Ruskin Bond, Osho, Haruki
Murakami and Keigo Higashino.
