There is an old IQ test that says nine dots and you have to draw five lines with the pencil within these nine dots without lifting the pencil. The only way to do it is to go outside the box.
‘Don’t be afraid to think outside the box’, says a rising star from Bundelkhand, Supriya Shukla.
Born on 16 January, 1996, Supriya is a rising star who believes in herself and with this belief, she is now ready to conquer the world with her talent. Since her childhood Supriya knew what she had to do in life. ‘HOPE is the keyword’, she says. She laps up rare examples of Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone and says she too will become like them someday.
Since she was a kid, Supriya appeared on various dance and acting platforms, and won almost all of them. After earning her bachelor’s degree in 2016, she focused on her dream with no hurdle in between. In the same year, she threw her hat in Miss Bundelkhand contest and won the title in the dance category. ‘This was the first milestone that focused me more on my dream’, she says. After this, she never looked back and won several dance and modelling competitions across the country.
After seeing the talent and spark in her, several top brands like Tanishq Jewellery and Marrakesh International hired her for their projects. She then moved ahead and appeared in a Punjabi movie item song and also worked in a movie for YouTube. She appeared as a top model in different ramp shows throughout the country.
In 2017, she worked as an Assistant Director in one of the most popular TV shows. Her never-giving-up attitude and dedication led her to be featured in the main stream TV shows like Crime Alert, Savdhaan India, and Crime Petrol. She then worked with one of the most prestigious production houses—Balaji Telefilms in Class of 2020 and a Sab TV show, Wagle Ki Duniya. Apart from it, she did a TV show with DD ONE, the National broadcast of India and various Print Ads.
At 25, she is residing in Mumbai and pursuing her acting career successfully. According to Supriya, ‘Dreams without goals are just dreams. Dreams come true if you truly work them to come true. Struggle becomes success when you work hard and if you don’t, you will end up just dreaming day and night’.
