In the rainy season, 100-120 cm of rainfall is sufficient for its plants. A temperature of 15 to 20 degrees is suitable for the excellent production of olives, and plants can tolerate only a maximum temperature of 12.2 degrees.
Land
Olive cultivation requires land with proper drainage, but it can also be grown in different soils. In its cultivation, acidic and alkaline land, its P.H. value should be between 6.5 to 8.0. Its plant grows well in calcium and boron soil, but yields are less. Therefore, do not grow an olive crop on hard ground.
Planting
Before planting olive plants in the field, the field is prepared by ploughing properly. After this, prepare pits of 3X3 size in the area for planting saplings, sprinkle 40 to 50 KG rotten cow dung manure with anti-termite medicine in these pits and leave the holes like this for three to four days. After this, please make a small pit in the middle of these pits and plant olive plants. Keep a distance of 6 meters between these plants planted in the field, and after transplanting, irrigate through the drip method.
Pruning
Olive plants are a bit more sprawling, and extra branches also come out on the plants during the rainy season, so prune the plants so that the bush of one plant does not affect the other plants. Apart from this, cut and separate the diseased branches on the plants. Pruning the plants should be done carefully so that there is no harm to the fruits.
Diseases And Treatment
Anthracnose: This disease attacks the leaves and fruits of olive plants due to dark brown spots on the affected leaves. To prevent this type of disease, spray Lime 1600 GM + Copper Sulphate 1600 GM in 200 liters of water on olive plants in June, and do 5 such sprayings in a gap of 3 weeks.

Up to 475 trees can be planted in one hectare field, producing 20 to 27 quintals of oil. The market price of olives is 180 to 200 rupees per kg, according to which farmer brothers can earn up to 3 to 5 lakhs by cultivating olives. After harvesting Tractor Trolley is used to load goods and supply to other places.
