Garlic can play an powerful position in controlling excessive blood pressure

Garlic can reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the body by up to 6.7 and 4.8 mmHg, respectively, without any serious side effects.

Although many people take high blood pressure lightly, controlling high blood pressure is important for good physical health. One in three people in Western countries have problems related to high blood pressure. And so different drugs are used to control high blood pressure. But the problem is that most of the high blood pressure control drugs on the market are unnatural and have negative side effects. And so, garlic can be a good choice as a food to control your high blood pressure on the one hand and keep the body free of negative side effects on the other.

Garlic has long been used as a food to lower high blood pressure. Various studies have also revealed the effective role of garlic in reducing high blood pressure to an ideal level with very few side effects. According to the RCT study, garlic was able to reduce the systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the body by 6.7 and 4.8 mmHg, respectively, without any serious side effects. Another study also showed that consuming 600–2400 mg of garlic per day can reduce blood pressure by 2.5–11.2 mmHg.

Although garlic has an effective role in reducing high blood pressure in the body, garlic does not have an effective role in reducing blood pressure in the body of people with normal blood pressure. And so, if people with normal blood pressure eat garlic as food, they are not afraid of low blood pressure.

Garlic often contains a chemical compound called allicin, which plays a major role in lowering blood pressure. Allicin blocks the production of a chemical called angiotensin II in the blood. Because angiotensin 2 constricts blood vessels and increases blood pressure in the body.

On the other hand, under the influence of allicin, less angiotensin 2 is produced in the blood, without it, the blood vessels dilate and lower blood pressure in the body. In addition, allicin in garlic increases the amount of hydrogen sulfite, nitric oxide, anti-inflammatory and antioxidants that play an active role in blood pressure control.

Garlic has been used as a medicinal herb for about five thousand years. Despite its many benefits, garlic has few side effects, including upset stomach, lower abdominal pain, and gas problems. In addition, regularly eating garlic for healing can cause symptoms such as headache, dry mouth, phlegm and hypersensitivity. However, none of these symptoms cause long-term problems.

There are moderate levels of garlic consumption that should be followed to control high blood pressure. The time and amount vary depending on whether the oil, powder, fresh or aged garlic. For example, 12.3 mg of garlic oil daily for 16 weeks, 400 mg of garlic powder daily for 6 months, or 180 mg of garlic powder mixed with eggs daily for 12 weeks can be taken as a medication to control blood pressure. High. . However, it is best to take 240-2400 mg of aged garlic daily for 2-23 weeks. However, it is not only garlic that can be used as an alternative to control high blood pressure. Instead, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin E, coenzymes and whole grain foods can also be used as natural foods to control blood pressure in humans with garlic. However, before taking any garlic-containing foods regularly to control high blood pressure, you should consult a medical professional.
